Should I seal Permanent Vinyl onto Wood?

You do not need to seal permanent vinyl on wood but if you choose to use a topcoat, ensure that the vinyl adhesive cures for 24-48 hours onto the wood before adding a topcoat so the adhesives don't mix and cause the vinyl to peel.

You can seal vinyl to wood by spraying with or applying a coat of water based polycrylic e.g. Minwax
